What we deliberately do not claim
- No final Bluetooth version. Supplied documentation conflicts, so the exact BLE version is marked pending rather than stated.
- The 500-hour figure is a longest-duration configuration, not a high-resolution one. Capacity varies with codec and quality.
- No 15-metre pickup range. The manufacturer estimate is approximately 3 metres.
- No waterproofing, beamforming, secure boot, or hardware encryption claims — unverified.
- Recording is not one-tap: it begins after a three-second press and hold of the multifunction button.
- Colours, finishes, and accessories are concepts until production is validated.

Recording consent notice
Recording law differs by country, state, and situation. In many places every participant must be informed, and in some places every participant must agree. You are responsible for obtaining the consent that applies where you record, and for honouring a request to stop. RepBrief provides consent prompts and policy controls; it does not provide legal advice.
Read the recording-consent guidancePairing, firmware updates, and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi transfer are performed by the RepBrief mobile application. The web application shows and manages device, transfer, and processing state.
